St Monans Community Arts Festival
Photographic Competition 2019

Photographers love St Monans. And why not? It’s a treasure trove of interesting and beautiful images. No wonder the village already features in many publications and films. Now it’s your turn for the limelight. Send us your best shots, and maybe your photo will be among those featured in our arts festival exhibition and local publications – and if you are the best in your age category, then you’ll win a cash prize!

What we would like you to do is to submit a photograph with a St Monans theme. That could be a view of the village or of a particular landmark; or a scene of village life – perhaps an event, or people at work or play; or a local nature photo. Please include details of anybody who is prominent in the photo (they should give their permission), and where and when it was taken. Your photo should be sent by email to – make sure it is good quality: as a guideline, it should be at least 5 megapixels (most modern cameras and smart phones can do that).

We will award prizes in three age categories: adult, primary, secondary. The winners will be announced at an exhibition of the best entries, during the Arts Festival weekend.
