Community Police report for February
Download the latest newsletter from our local community police officers, PC Chris Stecka and PC Robert Wallace. As usual, it covers police activity in several villages within the East Neuk.
35 calls to the police, consisting of various types including noise complaints, road traffic matters, intruder alarms and 999 calls were made from St Monans and Abercrombie. 4 crimes were recorded in this month.
- Substance Misuse
Police are conducting various enquiries into the misuse of drugs in the East Neuk. Enquiries are at an early stage at this moment but if the public have any concerns or wish to make officers aware of anything going on in their area please let them know. - Off-Road Bikes
There have been reports of off-road bikes traveling along the Fife Coastal Path between St. Monans and Elie including various other locations across the routes. The Police are aware of these incidents and in particular a recent one whereby 3 persons were stopped/identified for doing so. A number of other people have also been visited in respect of this behaviour as it is classed as anti -social behaviour.
