Consultation on shared use paths between Earlsferry and Pittenweem
East Neuk Community Action Plan (ENCAP) is developing a project to create a new, safe walking and biking shared use path, for all abilities between Earlsferry, St Monans and Pittenweem. The aim of the project is to encourage and enable people to choose walking, wheeling and biking for short journeys rather than using vehicles. This project is funded by the Scottish Government’s ‘Places for Everyone’ programme, administered by Sustrans. This is entirely separate from the roads budget held by Fife Council. So supporting better bike paths doesn’t mean worse roads!
As part of its feasibility study, ENCAP is currently looking for local community views on the project. You can access its online questionnaire at

It only takes a few minutes to complete and the information will provide helpful insight into local demand for better walking and cycle paths in this part of the East Neuk.
