Apologies were received and recorded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Declarations of interest<br>There were no declarations of interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reports from Community Groups<br>Bathing Pool (1934) \u2013 Mervyn Blank<br>Following concerns about erosion around the bathing pool, Mervyn Blank visited the site with Jennifer Jones<br>to discuss current damage. Mervyn showed photos to the meeting which detailed the extent of the<br>problems. Funding is required and there are sources available. However, there are significant challenges<br>getting access to the site to effect repairs. Mervyn also suggested that there could be work carried out in<br>this area to re-instate the putting green, the erection of bathing pool changing rooms and possibly a<br>catering van.<br>Current actions \u2013<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Civil engineer to inspect and report.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Road access and funding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emergency repairs<br>An action group of volunteers is needed to take these things forward to preserve and improve the area.<br>Cellardyke have been successful here and Cllr Corps suggested liaising with them to discuss their approach<br>and experience. Cllr Dillon advised that \u2018Harbours and Shore banking\u2019 \u2013 may need an approved Civil<br>Engineer for such an inspection.<br>E Montador \u2013 advised of a \u2018Community Benefit Opportunity\u2019 which may be available to assist with funding.<br>Pete Peddie, Jennifer Jones and Mervyn Blank are currently interested and involved in this project.<br>Jennifer highlighted the serious problems with erosion at the salt pan side of the pool. This coastal erosion<br>is actually going right back to the salt pans and this needs to be addressed to save both the pool and the<br>heritage site.<br>Marjory Ashworth suggested that Fife Council be contacted to find out their position with regard to the<br>coastal erosion and a report be brought back to the next CC meeting. It was agreed that the pool is heavily<br>used by locals and attracts many visitors to the village. The land in this area is apparently owned by the<br>people of St Monans and therefore assistance may not be available from Fife Council. Marjory then<br>thanked Pete, Jen and Mervyn for their work and involvement here.<br>Heritage Collection \u2013 no report<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>2<br>Sea Queen \u2013 Vicky Robertson<br>Sea Queen day will be Saturday 12 th July 2025. It will take place later in the afternoon due to having the<br>Reaper. The crowning of the Sea Queen will take place around 3pm.<br>The Food festival will take place on Saturday 5 th April 2025. Tickets will be on sale next month.<br>Memorial Garden \u2013 Morven Syme<br>Still in early stages but currently in the process of getting quotes. \u00a3250 has been received from the<br>Pittenweem Fishermen memorial group. The next meeting will be held on 3 rd March.<br>Application for a common good funding by end of March. Estimated costs \u00a320000 and we will submit a<br>claim for \u00a310000 for consideration.<br>SMAKE \u2013 Pete Peddie<br>An \u2018Open Weekend\u2019 was held last weekend at the Auld Kirk to encourage local membership. This resulted in<br>approximately 180 new members and there was lots of enthusiasm for the work being done. The project<br>continues to need support from local people. An application has been made the Scottish Land Fund, and we<br>should know the outcome of this in March. The website is up and running, together with a Facebook page.<br>Alongside the membership details, there is a consultation being delivered to local households for feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Last minutes and matters arising<br>\uf0b7 Cllr Hayes dealing with issue regarding Top Shop and this was all cleaned up the next day.<br>\uf0b7 Housing issue Gourlay Crescent \u2013 Cllr Corps advised we are waiting for skips when the weather is<br>better.<br>\uf0b7 Mine at harbour \u2013 who maintained it? Needs painted \u2013 carry forward to seek volunteer.<br>\uf0b7 Path repair from new houses to Queen Margaret St \u2013 Cllr Dillon requested even a temporary gravel<br>path. He has had no response from council since start of December and will request an update.<br>\uf0b7 Mechanical sweeper has not been seen in the village. Cllr Hayes to take forward.<br>\uf0b7 Cllr Corps reported that there will be new gully cleaners in the new budget.<br>\uf0b7 Banking at side of road in Abercrombie \u2013 someone from the council to inspect.<br>\uf0b7 Johnstons close has been tidied.<br>The January minute was proposed by M Syme and seconded by E Montador.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Police Matters and Report<br>Report as at the end of<br>Abercrombie &#8211; no calls and no crimes recorded. St Monans \u2013 await report.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chairperson\u2019s Report \u2013 Marjory Ashworth<br>\uf0b7 Thanks to all who supported and took part in the Burns Supper on Saturday 8 th February in the Town<br>Hall. Positive feedback was received from new members in the village and others out with.<br>However, there were issues for some people who could not hear the speakers. A public address<br>system will be considered for next year.<br>\uf0b7 Contact from a parent at the school advising she wants to hold a \u2018yard sale\u2019 to help raise money for<br>the school. M Ashworth has passed on Councillor details to the parent to see if permission is<br>required. Also 4 potholes.<br>\u00a0<br>Cllr Sean Dillon<br>\uf0b7 Manse Place \u2013 Your Speed Sign<br>Following discussions during the Area Roads Programme, I requested that the Transportation<br>Service erect a new vehicle activated \u201cYour Speed Sign\u201d at the western entrance to the village. The<br>Service have come back to me to confirm that they are willing to install one 100m along from the<br>gateway signs on Manse Place. A date has yet to be confirmed for the installation but will be shared<br>in due course.<br>\uf0b7 Access to Cash<br>Since being elected, it has been my priority to improve access to cash within the East Neuk. I am<br>pleased to confirm the LINK group recommended a cash hub in Anstruther be installed and<br>operated by the Post Office. While I cannot confirm the location or date of the opening of this<br>service until the contract is agreed, I can confirm the following that it will operate from 09:00 \u2013<br>17:00 Monday to Friday and will offer free depositing and withdrawal of cash for both personal and<br>business accounts. It will also offer a change service for businesses. It should be stressed that this<br>service will only be offering services involving money.
