Apologies were received and recorded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Declarations of Interest<br>There were no declarations of interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reports from Community Groups<br>Floral Group (Report left by Alison Child)<br>The tubs at the Cemetery have been replaced with new 60cm square pots. Receipts were<br>handed in.<br>Heritage Collection<br>The Heritage Collection was open on Saturday and had 18 people in. Jerzy Morkis has donated<br>40 books We Live by the Sea to be sold in the Heritage. This should raise \u00a31000.<br>SMAKE \u2013 Peter Peddie<br>SMAKE have been awarded the funds to buy the church from Scottish Land Fund. This also<br>covers Monotoxin and Smoke detectors so it can still be used.<br>Sea Queen \u2013 Vicky Robertson<br>The food festival went well and raised \u00a31500.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last Minutes and Matters Arising<br>Residents in Hope Place still have no consistency with the collection of the black bags. The<br>residents don\u2019t know when to put them out and have had no success contacting the council.<br>The March minutes were proposed by Eileen Montador and seconded by David Robertson.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Police matters and Report<br>St Monans 18 calls to the police. 4 crimes recorded. Abercrombie 0 calls and 0 crimes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chair\u2019s Report<br>Congratulated the Sea Queen Committee on a successful evening at the food Festival. Explained<br>that no skip had been booked due to there being less rubbish for the Beach and Community<br>Clean up. A quad bike and trailer and forklift have been organized from Balcaskie Estate to help<br>move the rubbish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treasurers Report<br>Cash Flow Account \u00a34416.13 (\u00a33150 for Memorial Garden)<br>Cheques issued:- Fife Council Town Hall &#8211; \u00a3284.60, St Monans Primary School &#8211; \u00a3100<br>Niamh Syme \u00a37.00<br>Floral Fund Account \u00a33496.13<br>Cheques issued:- Jill Bently &#8211; \u00a378.70 , Helen Marshall &#8211; \u00a3140.91<br>Heritage Collection Account \u00a32596.86<br>Cheques issued:- Andrew Allan \u00a355.20, May Henderson &#8211; \u00a388.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secretary Report<br>The Mine at the harbour has been fitted with its new sign by David Robertson. The slot has a<br>bag behind it and collect coins. There is also a QR code for donations. John Kinsman is still the<br>representative for Shipwrecked Mariners. The bins have been replaced in the harbour area.<br>Eileen to speak to Darren.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members Report<br>Niamh Syme report<br>Andra Horsburgh painted the mine so thanks to him.<br>Posted the on Facebook the new sign at the mine.<br>A new page on Facebook for the St Monans Pan\u2019s and Pool Restoration Project. If people could<br>share fond memories. I have been carrying out some research on the area.<br>Beach Clean Poster has been posted on social media.<br>Working with Cllr Sean Dillon regarding fund raising for the Memorial Garden.<br>Morven Syme report<br>3 The Cribbs &#8211; External Alteration to dwelling house.<br>2 Narrow Wynd &#8211; Replacement windows External painting of doors and repairing stonework.<br>17 Station Road &#8211; Carry out tree work in garden\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Councillors\u2019 Reports<br>No Councillors attended the meeting or sent reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public Questions<br>Request for more benches at the harbour. Will ask the councillors who we speak to at Fife<br>Council regarding benches.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Access through the gap (over looking the church) to the garden. The person that own\u2019s it Guy<br>Hayward had told David Robertson that it will be put back. Morven is to check with planning if<br>anything had been put in for the changes to garden.<br>East Street Carpark accessed from Station Road trees are coming over the wall from land at<br>George Terrace. M Ashworth to contact Councillors.<br>Palm Tree in No 9 East Street has been complained about by No 11 East Street.<br>Parking on Queen Margaret Street in the Turning Circle and Parking on the corners onto Inverie<br>Street need reported to the Traffic Wardens. Councillors.<br>Comments that the harbour is looking shabby. Who\u2019s responsible for it. Ask the Harbour Master<br>Jim Griffen he there between 7- 9 am.<br>Peter Peddie to arrange a meeting with a George Meldrum regarding shoring up the Bathing<br>Pool. The pool is used by community to bring in money for the project. Chris Whatley from St<br>Andrews University did research on the Salt Pans. The book Salt is in the Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"12\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AOCB<br>There was a flat for sale in the harbour area in St Monans. This would have made a good home<br>for the Heritage Collection. How would the CC go about getting funding for this. Do the<br>Councillors know if Fife Council would let a CC buy a property? A question was asked regarding<br>the Heritage Collection using the downstairs of the building that used to be the Spar shop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Close\/date and time for next meeting<br>The next meeting will be held on Monday 19 th May 2025 at 7.30 pm.
