Minute of the annual general meeting<\/u> held in the Church Hall, Station Road on<\/strong> Monday 17th<\/sup> August 2026 at 7.00 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present:<\/strong>  <\/strong>  <\/strong><\/td>Marjory Ashworth (Chair), Suzy Cheong (Vice Chair), David Robertson (Treasurer), Eileen Montador (Secretary), Katy Gall, Cllr Alycia Hayes, Diane Martin (Minute Secretary)  <\/td><\/tr>

1<\/strong><\/td>Welcome and apologies.<\/strong> Marjory Ashworth welcomed everyone to the 2026 AGM. Apologies were received and recorded.   <\/td><\/tr>
 2 <\/strong><\/td>Declarations of interest<\/strong> – There were no declarations of interest.  <\/td><\/tr>
3<\/strong><\/td>Last minutes and matters arising<\/strong> Marjory Ashworth referred to the minutes from 2025.  An extra AGM was held in January to approve the accounts which were not available at the AGM. There were no questions raised by those present.  <\/td><\/tr>
4<\/strong><\/td>Chairperson\u2019s Report for 2026 \u2013 Marjory Ashworth<\/strong> Shorter CC year as last AGM was last held in Nov 2025.  FC now want the AGM held before end of August.Events and activities this year have included the judging of the primary school Burns competition, the annual Burns Supper in the Town Hall as well as the annual beach clean (short of support on the day).  CC members also selected the school captains in the primary schoolThe CC is running NNG windfarm grant money. However, there is an issue with the terms and conditions box on the website which the treasurer is trying to resolve.  Forms are available to be used for applications.There is still some work ongoing on the memorial gardenThanks are extended to all those involved in helping and working at the Heritage and with the Floral Group.Disappointing membership drive \u2013 only 1 new member after a village leaflet drop.  The CC has 10 places on the committee but only 6 members.Thanks were also extended to those regularly attending the meetings.  <\/td><\/tr>
5<\/strong><\/td>Treasurer\u2019s Report \u2013 David Robertson<\/strong> See attached \u2013 (signed accounts to be attached to the minute) David Robertson read out the details of the three accounts. There were no questions regarding the accounts, which will be signed.  <\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
6<\/strong><\/td>Election of Office bearers \u2013 Cllr Alycia Hayes<\/strong> On behalf of Fife Council, Cllr Hayes extended sincere thanks for all the hard work undertaken by the CC members.  Nominations: Chair \u2013 Marjory Ashworth nominated by Eileen Montador and seconded by Jean Mayes \u2013 acceptedVice chair \u2013 (at this point Suzy Cheong arrived at the meeting) Suzy Cheong nominated by Marjory Ashworth and seconded by Katy Gall \u2013 acceptedSecretary \u2013 Eileen Montador nominated by Marjory Ashworth and seconded by Katy gall \u2013 acceptedTreasurer \u2013 David Robertson nominated by Katy Gall and seconded by Marjory Ashworth \u2013 accepted There were no objections to any of the nominations.  <\/td><\/tr>

<\/strong> 7<\/strong><\/strong><\/td>		Close of AGM<\/strong> Marjory Ashworth closed the AGM and moved to the ordinary general meeting.<\/td><\/tr>
