Draft Minutes of the Inaugural Meeting of the St Monans and Abercrombie Community Council held on Monday, 15 October 2018, at 7.00 pm.<\/p>\n

1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Welcome<\/p>\n
Cllr Docherty agreed to chair the meeting and welcomed members of the public to the inaugural meeting. He congratulated all candidates who had stood in the election, the members who had been successfully elected and the residents of St Monans and Abercrombie for the relatively high turnout at the election.<\/p>\n
2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Election of a Chairman<\/p>\n
Cllr Docherty called for nominations for the position of Chair. Mrs Salvage proposed (Mr Morris Seconded) Peter Copland. There being no other candidates, Mr Copland was elected unopposed to this office.<\/p>\n
3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Election of Vice Chair<\/p>\n
Cllr Docherty called for nominations for the position of Vice Chair. Mr Morris proposed (Mr Buchan Seconded) Vicki Salvage. There being no other candidates, Mrs Salvage was elected unopposed to this office.<\/p>\n
4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Election of Secretary<\/p>\n
Cllr Docherty called for nominations for the position of Secretary. Mrs Syme proposed (Ms Ironside Seconded) Stuart Bridges. Mrs Salvage then proposed Steve Collier (Mr Morris Seconded). Cllr Docherty called for a ballot and papers were provided to the members to vote. Messrs Collier and Bridges both excused themselves from the vote. Cllr Docherty declared that Mr Bridges was naugelected to be Secretary. The public expressed their appreciation to both candidates and the outcome.<\/p>\n
5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Election of Treasurer<\/p>\n
Cllr Docherty called for nominations for the position of Treasurer. Mr Collier proposed (Mr Buchan Seconded) William Morris. There being no other candidates, Mr Morris was elected unopposed to this office.<\/p>\n

Cllr Docherty invited Mr Copland to take up his appointed position as Chair.<\/p>\n
