Last month, there were 38 calls to the police from individuals within St Monans and Abercrombie, concerning noise complaints, road traffic matters, intruder alarms and 999 calls. 3 crimes were recorded in this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new campaign aims to make communities aware of what actions to take when it comes to potential fraudulent phone calls, internet banking, online \u2018Cryptocurrency\u2019 gathering like that of Bitcoin or bogus workmen\/callers at your door. Criminals are experts at impersonating people, organizations and the police. They spend hours researching you for their scams, hoping you\u2019ll let your guard down for just a moment.
