Under its Democracy Matters programme, the Scottish Government has been looking at options for devolving powers to communities.

A group of Community Councils are considering a petition to the Scottish Parliament to call for more powers and finance to be devolved, along similar lines to the discretionary powers and budgets of England’s parish councils. Before doing so, they are asking their communities what they think of the idea.

Below is the link to the local survey – there are a couple of quick questions and then space to add any other comments you may have. The Community Council want to hear from as many local people as possible, so please take a few minutes to share your views.
