2020 Visions of St Monans
Photographers love St Monans. And why not? It’s a treasure trove of interesting and beautiful images. No wonder the village has featured in so many publications and films.
Unfortunately, this year we have pandemic problems, but the Arts Festival Committee is determined that the show must go on: the arts festival will happen in September, even if it’s mostly online with just a few socially distanced outdoor events; and the photographic competition will still provide an opportunity to spotlight St Monans, The Photography Village.
So if you live in the village, this is your chance to share those wonderful photos that you’ve been taking on your daily walks; or if you are in lockdown elsewhere, then it’s a good reason to look through and select two or three of your favourite shots from previous visits to village; and there’s always a chance that you’ll get to come and take a few more before our deadline at the end of August.
A selection of the best shots will be featured in our online arts festival exhibition (and offline too, if we are allowed) and in local publications. Plus, if you are the best in your age category, then you’ll win a cash prize!
