East Neuk and Landward Energy Network (ENLEN)
The East Neuk and Landward Energy Network (ENLEN) is a community based energy saving project based in Fife. It has been developed by the East Neuk and Landward Joint Community Councils Forum, and supported by Fife Council and the University of St Andrews.
The project was awarded grant funding from the Climate Challenge Fund, allowing us provide local solutions to fuel poverty and climate change, including home energy checks, support and advice as well as enabling increased uptake of the various schemes currently on offer for cavity and loft insulation, draught proofing, double glazing, heating controls and replacement boiler systems. If you are interested in finding out how you could make your home more energy efficient – saving you money, keeping you warmer and helping the environment – then your local Energy Champion will be happy to call round and offer you independant and free advice in your own home. We also give talks to community groups and can offer advice at local events such as fetes and gala days.
