FIFEplan Consultation
We are emailing to advise you that the Main Issues Report for FIFEplan,Fife’s Local Development Plan was formally launched by Councillor Kay Carrington, Chair of Fife Council’s Planning Committee yesterday afternoon in the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes. The consultation started yesterday and will run for 8 weeks from Monday the 14th January 2013 to Sunday the 10th March 2013.
This is the main consultation stage in preparing the Fife Local Development Plan, which will replace the existing three Local plans in Fife by 2015.
The purpose of the Main Issues Report is to look at the changes that have taken place in Fife since the preparation of the existing Local Plans and highlight the choices in planning for the development of Fife over the next 10 years.
We are also inviting comments on a number of related documents, including the Strategic Environmental Assessment: Environmental Report, and draft supplementary planning guidance on more specific topics. These are:
n FifeDevelopment Plan Planning Obligations Framework;
n Draft Green Infrastructure Planning Guidance;
n Maintaining an Effective 5 Year Housing Land Supply.
