REVISION OF ELECTORAL REGISTER – Section 14(6)

To be intimated for 2 Sundays (9th and 16th August2020) and Displayed for 14 Days
Notice is hereby given that since more than six months have elapsed since the Electoral Register of this congregation of East Neuk Trinity linked with St Monans was finally made up, it is now proposed that it should be revised.
If you believe that your name ought to be on the Register, you can ask for confirmation immediately after this service intimation or upon reading this notice from the Session Clerk of ENT, Mrs Olive Weir, Tel 01333 340642 or the Session Clerk of St Monans, Mr Duncan Reekie, Tel 01333 312028.
If you find that your name does not appear, it can be added in the following circumstances:
If your name has been added to the full Communion Roll since the Register was drawn up, then your name will automatically be placed upon the Electoral Register on its revision. You will need to take no further action.
If you are a regular worshipper here, but are still a member of another congregation, then you should arrange to hand in to the Session Clerk a valid Certificate of Transference before the Kirk Session meets.
If you a regular worshipper here, and not a member of this or any other congregation, then the Kirk Session can add your name to the Electoral Register as an “adherent”. If you wish the Kirk Session to consider this, you should obtain a form from the Session Clerk, complete it and return it to the Clerk before the Kirk Session meets.
The Kirk Session will meet via a Zoom meeting on Thursday the 20th day of August, 2020 at 19h30 to revise the Electoral Register

NOTICE OF NOMINATION – Section 22(5)
H (AMENDED) Vacancy Procedure Act Protocol
To be intimated for 2 Sundays (16th and 23rd August2020) and Displayed for 14 Days
At a meeting held by Zoom on 6th August 2020, the Nominating Committee chose the person who they wish to propose to this congregation of East Neuk Trinity linked with St Monans to be our new minister. The name of the person proposed is Mr Douglas Ross Creighton.
Arrangements have been made for Mr Douglas Ross Creighton, to conduct public worship in this East Neuk Trinity linked with St Monans Church on Sunday the 30th day of August at 10 o’clock.
The Presbytery of St Andrewshave approved that
• no members of the congregations shall be present when Mr Douglas Ross Creighton conducts public worship.
• The link to the recording of Mr Douglas Ross Creightonconducting public worship will be available from Sunday the 30th day of August at 10 o’clock on the church website at https://www.eastneuktrinity.org.uk and will also be printed on every hand delivered ballot envelope on 28/29th August 2020.
Should any member or adherent of the congregation of East Neuk Trinity linked with St Monans not have access to the internet and wishes a DVD of the service to allow them to watch they should contact the Session Clerks, not later than the Sunday the 30th day of August 2020 at 6 o’clock (p.m.)

Immediately after that service, a vote on whether or not Mr Douglas Ross Creighton should be appointed as the new minister of this congregation of East Neuk Trinity linked with St Monans will be opened. Anyone whose name appears on the Electoral Register of this congregation of East Neuk Trinity linked with St Monans shall be entitled to vote.
No-one else shall be entitled to vote.
Those who are entitled to a vote, and for whom the Kirk Session hold an address contact details shall receive a paper ballot, from their district elder doing a hand delivery on 28/29th August. Every vote returned must have a unique number written on their ballot paper. Votes returned without a unique number will not be counted. The unique numbers will not be linked to how votes are cast.
All votes must be cast or returned not later than Thursday 3rd September 2020, by last 1st Class post in SAE, to reach the Returning Office by Saturday the 5th day of September at 12 o’clock.
